Schools Apprenticeships
by Tim Carver - Friday, 26 June 2009, 12:16 PM

School Apprenticeships

Our 14 - 19 programme offers students from yrs 10, 12 & 13 the opportunity to choose a vocational learning path along side their academic studies, enabling them to make a smooth transition between school and industry.  Vocational qualifications carry UCAS points for those who wish to progress onto Foundation and full Degrees.

Schools offer the vocational options as a route to enable students who prefer a more practical / “hand on” delivery style, the opportunity to gain industry based qualifications that are not available to them through the traditional school route.  Opportunities are available in a variety of occupational areas:

  • Retail
  • Business Administration
  • Accountancy
  • Engineering
  • Child Care

For more information on youth and student apprenticeships please call our 14 – 19 team on 08456 585400
